Song of the Day: 3/13/13 – “I Love It”

There are three 3s in today’s date. Neat.

Well, I want to start up the Song of the Day again. So here is the random tune that was in my head this morning when I got up.

“I Love It” by Icona Pop… It’s new and repetitive and techno, and for some reason, well, I love it.

I’m in no way saying this is great music or profound or anything like that. But it’s fun! It makes me excited for summer, riding in the car with the windows down, hopefully going on some boat rides, and riding my bicycle down to the beach. Daylight Savings Time has made me even more excited for warmer weather. These longer days are great but it’s still just a little too chilly.

Anyway, Song of the Day. There you go! Here are the super deep and emotional lyrics (lol):

“I Love It”

I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone.
I crashed my car into the bridge. I watched, I let it burn.
I threw your shit into a bag and pushed it down the stairs.
I crashed my car into the bridge.

I don’t care, I love it. I don’t care.

I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone.
I crashed my car into the bridge. I watched, I let it burn.
I threw your shit into a bag and pushed it down the stairs.
I crashed my car into the bridge.

I don’t care, I love it. I don’t care.

You’re on a different road, I’m in the milky way
You want me down on earth, but I am up in space
You’re so damn hard to please, we gotta kill this switch
You’re from the 70’s, but I’m a 90’s bitch

I love it!
I love it!

I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone.
I crashed my car into the bridge. I watched, I let it burn.
I threw your shit into a bag and pushed it down the stairs.
I crashed my car into the bridge.

I don’t care, I love it.
I don’t care, I love it, I love it.
I don’t care, I love it. I don’t care.

You’re on a different road, I’m in the milky way
You want me down on earth, but I am up in space
You’re so damn hard to please, we gotta kill this switch
You’re from the 70’s, but I’m a 90’s bitch

I don’t care, I love it.
I don’t care, I love it, I love it.
I don’t care, I love it.
I don’t care, I love it, I love it.
I don’t care.
I love it.
